How to Learn Thai and Lanna Innovation

How to Learn Thai is a service of Lanna Innovation Co., Ltd., a print, web and mobile publishing company specializing in Thai Language and Culture products and services. We are a majority Thai-owned, Thai Limited Company founded in 2009 but with roots in education and culture stretching back four decades and a combined 23 years of teaching, writing and translation experience between the two founders.

Course Director

The Course Director at How to Learn Thai is Khun Pattara Suttajit, also known as Ajahn Pat. He has been teaching Thai to foreigners for 16 years and performing Thai translation for 13 years. For 4 years he worked as an English teacher, teaching English to Thai people as well as foreigners.

Ajahn Pat is one of the founders of Lanna Innovation and is dedicated to developing and improving learning materials and methods for teaching the Thai language to foreigners. He studied abroad for his Masters’ degree, so he knows firsthand the challenges of living in another culture as well as learning a foreign language while living abroad.

Hence our name is composed of Lanna signifying our deep cultural roots and Innovation which shows how we creatively and effectively identify and meet the needs of our customers.
